The next day, my phone chimed with the familiar sound of a Tryst notification. I stared at it in disbelief before reaching for it.

You matched with Simone.

I recognised the name and a flush of pleasure ran through me. I'd lingered on Simone's profile for a while before swiping right on her, not out of hesitation but out of appreciation. She'd written a lot about herself and her interests, talking at length about her love of all things arts and crafts, which she'd skilfully segued into a flirtatious comment about making her own restraints.

Simone was beautiful, with a shock of curly hair and a tendency to wear bright, colourful eyeshadow that complemented her smooth, dark skin. All of her pictures were well-posed and almost artistic, with flawless lighting and framing. I wondered if she was a photographer or a makeup artist perhaps, and decided to ask later if things turned out well.
